Winter in Port A might be laid-back, but it’s far from boring. With daytime temps in the 60s and 70s, we’re still walking the beach, watching the waves, and soaking in the sunshine. We kick things off with the Golf Cart Holiday Parade—locals deck out their carts with lights, tinsel, and music, and cruise through town spreading cheer. Then there’s the Lighted Boat Parade at Roberts Point Park, paired with a spectacular Holiday Drone Show lighting up the sky over the marina. It’s festive, coastal, and totally Port A. If you love wildlife, winter’s also prime time for spotting Whooping Cranes and other migratory birds—grab your binoculars and join a guided nature walk.
